Any Windows program you install on your system can add itself as a startup object. And too many startup items means your system will take longer to boot up to be ready for use. To fix this, Windows has a built-in startup manager that allows you to disable startup programs you no longer need. However, the built-in startup manager does not offer many features. 1. Autoruns
