CF Auto Root to download has at least the name is 'i9300' – does it also work with the i9305 LTE? At least according to the photo to step 2 above there is an extra package for the i9305?!?

Rooted my S3 LTE. After starting SU is stopped. I get a message from security policies. Have the 4.3 on it . What else can I do?

You can just uninstall/re-install SuperSU or install an update from the Play Store. Maybe it works again. In the SuperSU app there is also the possibility to update the "Su Binary". If this does not work, something did not work during rooting – run CF Auto Root again.

Have a question . I am not really familiar with it but so far I can follow all the steps .. Just the 500mb file i.E. The update, should I just pull that via USB to my S3 or is that handled by the program automatically ?

The 500MB file (I9305XXUEMKC_I9305DBTEMJ4_DBT.Zip) you have to unpack on your PC, there comes then a tar.Md5 file out which you can flash with Odin.

Edit2: The images from the links above do not work. I can't find the file extension .Z01 does not unzip or open, what kind of format is this anyway? Have never seen this before. Mfg Vale

Hi, downloaded the two files now. I once downloaded the: I9305XXUEMKC_I9305DBTEMJ4_I9305XXUEMK1_HOME.Tar.Md5 and the I9305XXUEMKC_I9305DBTEMJ4_I9305XXUEMK1_HOME.Tar.Z01 How do I get the last file into Odin?? – Or do I have somehow a thinking error? I have already uploaded the first file to pda. Tried it only with that but it always gives "FAIL". What else do I need to do?
–
Constey 21. January 2014 at 17:25
The mirror consists of 2 files (tar.Zip& z01…) the one with 7zip, winrar etc. Can be unpacked. At dev host the file limit is 500 MB – and the image is 700 so it had to be in 2 parts…
–
Vinc 21. January 2014 at 18:04
So the 2. Image (extra) regardless of the first flashing?
–
Lars 21. January 2014 at 23:51
So you have to tar.Flash zip first and then the z01 or how should i understand this? Thanks already for the quick answer! 🙂

I followed exactly the described tutorial, but on my Galaxy S3 LTE the autoroot does not work, as soon as the phone reboots after the autoroot via Odin, SuperSU is gone and rooted it is also not… Please for help!

Install supersu from the play store, then update the su binary and see if you have root.
