One Reddit user recently shared his Grand Theft Auto Online Bank robbery crew creepily dressed up as Scooby-Doo gang – with the exception of Scooby-Doo, the video shows the entire mystery machine driving team: Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma. It seems the four characters left behind are solving mysteries instead of living a life of crime, thanks to GTA Online's character customization features.

Reddit user GOLDSCHURKE Recently, she showed off her use of character customization by using characters that mimic the Scooby-Doo gang for a bank heist. In a video titled "Scooby Snax is not cheap" the four human Scooby Doo characters enter a bank, guns at the ready, the entrance zipped up and their money bags ready to be filled with loot. Their uncanny resemblances to Scooby-Doo characters are hard to miss, with each character looking like stylishly sinister versions of their iconic selves. Fred has his blonde movie star hairdo, Velma has her glasses, Daphne is decked out in her orange hair and purple ensemble, and Shaggy wears his green shirt with his mop-like hair. The characters are such close renditions of those in Scooby Doo, it's a bit jarring to see them all with guns – or Shaggy's arms covered in tattoos. Together they take part in one of GTA Online's cooperative heists.
This is not the first time GTA Online users have put a familiar face in an unfamiliar role. While it's not entirely plausible in the Hanna-Barbera animated universe that this amiable motley group of morally upright mystery solvers would resort to a life of violent crime, it's even less plausible that the group would get away with their heist – some users observed that the crew didn't bother to mask up until after they'd entered the shore. It doesn't help that their clothes are also incriminatingly recognizable.
After a bumpy start in October 2013, Rockstar's online counterpart to Grand Theft Auto 5 has flourished in the years since, with GTA Online becoming an immense success for the studio and showing no signs of stopping updates anytime soon. Also fresh from its eighth anniversary, Grand Theft Auto Online Still seems to be entertaining its players.
