Now it is out: E-cars under a purchase price of 40.000 euros will be subsidized with 6000 euros in the future. Many car buyers have been waiting for this. Vehicles are quickly being registered again. The proud owners adorn themselves with the 'E' on their license plate.

A customer of the Hoffmann professionals picked up a brand-new Renault ZOE from his dealer. From now on he does not need to worry about gasoline any more. The car is now "refueled" at the socket in his garage.

He charged his new acquisition for the first time at his conventional Schuko socket. A whole night did not suffice to fill the 'tank' completely. There must be something else! With this wish, the customer drove his new car to the Hoffmann professionals' yard.

In the first conversation, the professionals from Elektro-Hoffmann first made him aware of the dangers of charging via normal household sockets. The fact that the fuses blow during constant full load, especially when other consumers in the household are switched on, is not the worst of it. But if cable fires occur due to the permanent load, it can be very dangerous.

It was clear to the customer that he needed a professional solution. The solution is called: Wallbox. If done correctly, a dedicated charging station is not a stopgap solution, but rather a convenient and at the same time cost-effective 'filling station' in or around the house. It is particularly interesting if the owner has a photovoltaic system on his roof or a wallbox anyway. Has installed on his carport, then he 'refuels' quasi free of charge.

If he has not yet installed a photovoltaic system, perhaps the electric vehicle is the reason for this. Indeed, the federal, state and local governments offer various funding opportunities for the alternative energies.

An e-car charges more safely and many times faster than at a household socket with a wallbox. The customer's Renault ZOE would be charged at a reasonable wallbox in less than three hours and be ready to drive for another nearly 400 km.

Wallboxes today are no longer large cabinets; there are solutions that take up hardly any space at all. The fact is that only electrical contractors are allowed to install electric vehicles. The Hoffmann professionals make an inquiry with the network operator and check whether the house connection and the supply line allow a connection to be made.

It makes sense that the house connection must still have enough buffer for a 22KW charging station. The supply line of the road must also have sufficient reserves for such a continuous performance. It is checked how many more 22KW charging stations are already installed. If everything fits you are ready to go. Hoffmann professionals will document the installation. Make the report to the network operator. Homeowner is advised to inform their building insurance company about it. Now the e-car owner can carefree. Start everyday life with low costs. In addition to eliminating gasoline bills, it also saves on taxes. All up to 31. December 2020 registered e-cars will be exempt from vehicle tax for ten years. The Hoffmann professionals are also the right partner for electric mobility, a call is worthwhile in any case.
