The initiative to build an attractive hiking trail in the tranquil Oehrbach Valley to inform the population about forest management and the region came from both the Thulba Valley Tourism Association and the market town of Oberthulba. The Bavarian State Forests were happy to take up this idea. So that also the children do not come too briefly, on the way, which has 13 information stations on a length of approximately ten kilometers, also numerous play opportunities, as for example Balancierstangen, a climbing net or a wood xylophone, were created.
The forest adventure trail was directly connected to the already existing nature trail "Natur&" Culture" which means that the entire Oehrbach valley from Hassenbach to Oehrberg and back is now equipped with interesting and varied attractions.
The joint project of the Hammelburg and Bad Bruckenau forestry operations, the Oberthulba market and the Thulba Valley Tourism Association e. V. has now been completed. The result is a versatile and interesting forest adventure trail that embodies the charms of the valley and its primeval nature.
